Many times objects that come into contact with an Embossing Roll cause damage to the roll’s pattern. This damaged area can cause a defect in the product being embossed. In many cases we can fill in the damaged area and then “hand-engrave” the pattern to make the damage area less noticeable or not apparent at all.
Our success is dependent on the size of the damaged area and the fineness and type of embossing pattern on the roll.
We have been successful on hundreds of rolls over the years.
